in Central Hall Westminster at 7pm Monday 25 February 2008
The rally is intended to get a simple message across to the Government in response to its public consultation on proposals for ‘Adding capacity to Heathrow airport‘:
Stop Heathrow Expansion
The above postcards show:
- a scenic photo I took of Methodist Central Hall recently, on a rather grey day, when I was visiting the nearby Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and QEII Conference Centre
- a map I took from a PDF (Central Hall Westminster map and public transport) on the Central Hall Westminster website
Now you can see how close the rally is to the Houses of Parliament.
N.B. The press need good pictures of people attending the event, or the story won’t get told!
That’s why as many people as possible—thousands of us, of all ages, young and old, from near and far—need to fill the meeting room and overflow onto the street.
P.S. It is brilliant to see so many people signing the petition.
