Surrey County Council opposes Heathrow expansion

County Council opposes Heathrow expansion due to environmental and transport concerns
We live three miles from the Surrey border at Runnymede. It is good to see county councils as well as borough, town and parish councils taking a strong stand on the issue of Heathrow expansion. These all-party collaborative efforts by councils show they are representing residents and businesses far more responsibly than Labour government ministers.
