Wild deer at sunset in Deer Park, Windsor Great Park

Hundreds grazed alongside the Long Walk of Windsor Great Park. At this angle, the setting sun lit up the blonde hairs around their ears!
For several months of the year the royal deer are behind fences, for their own protection and for ours, as you can read on this Deer Park kissing gate sign:
