Happy St. George’s Day! Here he is, posing at our school Medieval Fayre last April. Now, look down this page, and you will see that this noble patron Saint of England is determined to make sure the serf and peasant remain downtrodden. [Actually, I think the one on the right is a freeman, and the other is a villein. Unfortunately, I have forgotten their real names ~ St. George did tell me!]
