Research concludes WE ARE DESTROYING EARTH Could you kindly rephrase that? Cartoon 6 of 12 UCS contest Vote for your choice by 8 August 2008
On issues from air quality to global warming, government science is being censored (e.g. Cheney’s Staff Cut Testimony On Warming), manipulated, and distorted on an unprecedented scale. To draw attention to this problem and have a little fun, the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is hosting:
Science Idol: the Scientific Integrity Editorial Cartoon Contest
In April and May 2008, they received hundreds of entries. In June, UCS worked with four highly accomplished, award-winning cartoonists and cartoon editors to narrow down the field to 12 talented finalists.
Now, we are invited to vote for the 2008 Science Idol—and have the chance to win a 2009 Scientific Integrity calendar featuring the best 12 cartoons.
