Warm orange glow of Windsor snow

Two years ago today, we looked out before walking to school on the morning of Thursday 8 February 2007 to witness this tangerine dream:
It is true that the snow often looks ‘warm’ like this in the mornings and evenings, lit only by the old-fashioned street lamps of Windsor, but it is rare that we see the blanket of snow undisturbed. There are usually plenty of footprints …
