  2. Apparently, the other lads paint their conkers too!
    (Personally, I had never seen a coloured conker until my son decided to use his brother’s WarHammer acrylic paint to distinguish this one.)
    .
    He obliterated a “foursie” today, which means he knocked the shell off another lad’s conker that had already polished off four other competitors 😉

  3. Hmm – acrylics would form a tough, but flexible. Wonder what a coat of enamel would do – or… Hammerite?
