😐  What?  Well, it appeared when I was googling this:

On Thanksgiving Day when we should be giving thanks for all the tireless efforts put in by scientists on climate research, the phrase “in the absence of forthright guidance from the scientific community” caught my eye.  I wonder what the rest of this article says.  Hmmm …

Ironically, these stories about scientists being poor communicators and advisers live behind paywalls that the public cannot breach.
