St. George’s Chapel (south entrance to nave) Windsor Castle 10 December 2007

The gorgeous low winter sun shone on this side of the Chapel emphasising its golden tones before 3pm. It was just so beautiful this afternoon, I had to go and take a few pictures. Now if I could just find a book about the seventy-six Windsor Beasts on the roof, I could try to identify a few of them, mentioned in this royal answer

  2. Thanks. Yes, our weather has been very mild and today was glorious as temperatures dropped a bit and the sky was decorated with lovely high white wisps of delicate cloud. I hear you’ve had frost in California, and other states are on winter storm watch with ice causing problems.
