King Henry VIII Gate Windsor Castle on foggy evening 23 December 2007

This fog has been with us, certainly from Cardiff to Windsor and around the M25, for the entire day. It is a long time since I have seen this ‘depth’ of weather: where the fog has persisted from morning to night, and across a band of the country through which I travelled (by rail) for over 100 miles. Remarkable.

Unfortunately, this has really hit Christmas travellers’ plans involving LHR and other London airports, as you can tell by googling heathrow fog😦
