The Independent calls for an end to airline indulgences

Leading article: Time to end the indulgence

After you have taken a look at the Independent piece, here’s a case in point.  The online version of the Western Mail is currently headed by bmifly offers, and the paper version this week is playing push penny, promoting Ryanair flights for one pence each (terms and conditions apply, of course):

In our SOCC (special offer consumer culture), there are still plenty of people who are either incapable of joining the dots, or choose to ignore them.

Funny, this newspaper is the same price as eighty flights!
