Climate Rush are organising a peaceful Edwardian picnic at Heathrow T1 this evening to protest against the proposed, and soon-to-be-imposed, expansion of Heathrow airport.
“Let them eat cake!” jeers our nation’s decision maker, monitoring our antics from the safety of his personal screen, for apparently he neither understands, nor cares much, what the real issues are for real people.
The impression we are given is that climate change will not happen on his watch, because it is not permitted; perhaps turning a blind eye to inconvenient observations?
We will be warned against protesting, and intimidated into submission. That’s all.
