TheVMofB’s “group” is handing out leaflets in Bali, apparently.  While in Denpasar, he penned his latest post (published by Heartland) titled Dishonest Political Tampering with the Science on Global Warming, and it was printed in full in The Jakarta Post.  Thank goodness nobody takes him seriously.

Father Christmas ambled past us today in Windsor Great Park, and when I mentioned he looked cheerful in his smart red, white and black outfit, the boys said “Yes, and he’s quite a bit slimmer than usual!”  They are familiar with a lovely Saint Nicholas of Myra who visits our church in California every year on the Sunday closest to December 5th—so they do have a reference point for that remark 😉

On the topic of slimmed down polar inhabitants, the Daily Mail is telling people ‘Polars bears on the brink? Don’t you believe it‘ while announcing a new programme: Polar Bear Week With Nigel Marven begins on Channel 5 on Monday, December 17 at 7.15pm.  His comments in the Daily Mail about photographers deliberately seeking out skinny bears are cringe-worthy.
